This webinar will provide BTHA members with an overview of new regulations coming into force in 2023 that toy companies need to be aware of and preparing for. The session will cover rules for selling in both UK and EU markets, outlining what has changed since Brexit, and what new things to expect.

Speakers will cover all areas impacting on toy businesses, but there will be a large focus on the areas of toy safety and new environmental requirements, as these have the most incoming changes. Members will also find out what BTHA guidance and tools are available to help with compliance.

There will be time dedicated for members to ask questions.

Although the webinar will cover technical regulatory issues, it is intended for a broader audience to give management within BTHA member companies a good understanding of changing requirements in the coming calendar year that may impact businesses and operations, and how the BTHA is supporting its members.

Speakers:

  • Jerry Burnie, Head of Toy Safety and Chair of both the BTHA Technical and Sustainability Committees

  • Kerri Atherton, BTHA Head of Public Affairs
