Last year the BTHA commissioned environmental design consultancy Beyondly to produce new guides exclusively for BTHA members to support members trying to reduce any negative environmental impacts of their business. These practical guides outline best practice and design considerations for both sustainable toy packaging, and toy product design and reuse.

This webinar series will go into these considerations in greater detail and provide an opportunity for members to discuss and ask questions.

The guidance can be found here.

Agenda:
  • Consider packaging opportunities to reduce, reuse and recycle.
  • Define recyclability and learn what this means for your packaging.
  • In depth consideration of packaging materials, encouraging critical analysis of material types. Comparing recyclability, carbon impact and wider environmental factors.
  • Review the key drivers and barriers of packaging eco-design and wider industry initiatives to support and follow.
