Members will be aware that the EU Commission is working on a new Toy Safety Regulation to replace the existing Toy Safety Directive. Negotiations are still ongoing with regards to the final text, but this revision will undoubtedly have a significant effect on members who trade in the EU. The BTHA will be issuing full guidance once the final text is known. An updated fact sheet has been published with more information on the current timelines for this new Regulation.
