BTHA partners’ advice & support for members

As well as publishing government advice to businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic, the BTHA is helping members by offering the expertise of our partners and contractors. We have asked several companies to provide us with advice on a wide range of topics from employment law and employee benefits to insurance and lockdown risks. This list will be constantly updated with our partners’ advice and offers of help, with links to expert personnel if required.

Towergate – insurance

The BTHA’s insurance provider, Towergate, has launched a Covid-19 information hub containing advice, guidance and support to businesses and self-employed workers.

There are useful tips about what to do with your insurance cover if your business property is unoccupied and on compliance plus why you should not be cancelling your public liability cover.

The hub also addresses the lack of clarity from some insurers regarding business interruption claims for consequential loss.

Towergate is also providing clients with free access to the Ellis Whittam Coronavirus hub for health & safety and employment law. Please contact Mark.Allan@towergate.co.uk if you would like more specific advice.
