

MAX-IT Award Winners - Friday 27th May 2005
The BTHA MAX-IT awards were announced on Thursday 26th May at the BTHA AGM and Industry Day. The MAX-IT awards were created to focus attention on achievement and excellence for design, marketing and communications within the toy industry. The inaugural award categories were designed to recognise both the individuals and companies who have displayed outstanding innovation and excellence in 2004.
Short listed entrants were assessed by an independent judging panel with enormous combined industry. The winners received their MAX-IT awards from the chairman of the BTHA, Clive Jones, who commented, "I would like to thank all the nominated companies and individual teams as well as the panel of independent judges. Without all of their efforts the awards would not have been possible or such a success. Congratulations to the winners and all of the short listed companies."
In addition to the winners, it was decided that within two of the categories a highly commended certificate should be presented to recognise the hard work and skill of the team involved. Awards were presented to the following companies:
