Tickets are now available for the 2017 BTHA AGM and Toy Industry Day which will take place at Great Fosters Hotel, Egham, Surrey on Wednesday 28th June.
This year’s event will begin the BTHA AGM from 9.30am which will then be followed by the Industry Day from 10.15am. If you are a member of the BTHA and wish to attend the AGM only please indicate this preference when completing your booking. Attendance of the AGM ONLY is free of charge to all members but please note this is only available to those that do not wish to attend the whole day.
The Industry Day, which gathers people from all over the industry, is a great opportunity to meet and network with industry colleagues and have the opportunity to hear from expert speakers on issues relating to the industry. This year is no exception, and the BTHA are delighted to unveil two engaging keynote speakers for this year’s event.
Dylan Collins, CEO of SuperAwesome, the leading kids digital media platform, will provide an insight to current technology trends, platforms and compliance issues facing the industry. SuperAwesome’s technology and products power kid-safe advertising, parent-portals and COPPA compliance for hundreds of brands and agencies around the world.
This will then be followed by a presentation from the world’s first astronaut Helen Sharman OBE (pictured left).
A superb speaker, Helen enthuses her audience about Space, S.T.E.M. and the wonders of science. She describes the meticulous training and preparation, learning Russian, the launch and landing, how weightlessness feels, her science experiments, the team spirit, and adjusting to life back on Earth. Awarded the OBE in 1993, Helen Sharman is a full-time scientist, a pioneer, a role model for young people (of all ages!) and an inspiration.
There will be the opportunity for Q&A from the audience following both Dylan and Helen’s presentations.
